LIVERMORE FALLS – Catherine Millett scored 17 seconds into overtime Saturday to give third-seeded North Yarmouth Academy a 1-0 victory against second-ranked Livermore Falls in a Western Class C field hockey semifinal.

The Panthers (15-1) will play at top-ranked Telstar of Bethel (15-1) in the final Tuesday.

Megan Fortier raced down the right side and took a shot on Livermore Falls goalie Carlee Morris.

Morris attempted to kick the ball out but lost her boot.

As she raced to get back into net, Millett picked up the rebound and launched the overtime goal.

Morris finished with 11 saves. Mariah Farrell made five for NYA.

TELSTAR 2, SACOPEE VALLEY 0: Katie Sumner scored the first goal and the top-ranked Rebels (15-1) went on to defeat the fourth-seeded Hawks (12-4) in a Western Class C semifinal at Bethel.

Kallie Brown made it 2-0 after two minutes of the second half.

Ashley Pingree made 13 saves for Sacopee. Hali Barter needed two saves for the shutout.

BOYS’ SOCCER

KENNEBUNK 1, WINDHAM 0: The eighth-ranked Rams (9-4-2) took advantage of an own goal on a missed clearance with 3:41 left in the second overtime to edge the ninth-seeded Eagles (8-5-2) in a Western Class A prelim at Kennebunk.

Christian Elkington finished with six saves for the shutout. Ben Noble stopped one shot for Windham.

GIRLS’ SOCCER

WINDHAM 1, MCAULEY 0: Bebe Butts scored from Mary Green just over two minutes into the second half to help the seventh-seeded Eagles (9-4-2) edge the 10th-ranked Lions (6-6-3) in a Western Class A prelim at Windham.

Amber Verill made 10 saves as the Eagles recorded their fourth straight shutout.

Molly Miller turned away 16 shots for McAuley.

BRUNSWICK 1, BANGOR 0: Allie Walton scored as the Dragons won the Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference championship game at Fairfield.

Mia Smith of Bangor and Lydia Caputi of Brunswick had 16 saves each.

FOOTBALL

GREELY 43, FRYEBURG ACADEMY 8: Quarterback Mike Leeman had touchdowns runs of 34 and 36 yards as the Rangers (6-2) downed the Raiders (1-7) at Fryeburg.

Ethan Wyman added a rushing touchdown and kicked five extra points for Greely. Kyle Bonner scored for Fryeburg on a 2-yard run.

SANFORD 12, MASSABESIC 7: Shawn Goodrich scored on an 18-yard run with less than two minutes left to lift Sanford (4-4) over the Mustangs (0-8) at Waterboro.

Goodrich finished with 75 yards on 12 carries and Alex Shain added 60 yards on nine carries for Sanford.

VOLLEYBALL

BIDDEFORD 3, GREELY 2: Keila Grigware finished with 21 service points and seven aces, including three service points and an ace in the fifth set, and had 13 kills to lift the top-ranked Tigers (14-1) over the fourth-seeded Rangers (10-6) in a Class A semifinal at Biddeford.

Alyssa Drapeau and Deanna Tourigny added three aces apice for the Tigers, who won the fifth set, 15-11.

Drapeau also had 12 kills and Bailey Cote added 16 blocks.
