BRUNSWICK
The Brunswick Public Works Department has announced that scheduled paving along Route 123 will take place Thursday, not today.
Harpswell Road, which is Route 123, will be paved from Middle Bay Road north to Dan’s Way. The road will remain open but traffic will be reduced to one lane. Motorists should expect delays or seek an alternate route.
The work will extend through the Middle Bay Road intersection.
As previously announced, Harry C. Crooker and Sons still plans to mill existing pavement along Federal Street Thursday and will pave a section of the road Thursday afternoon.
No parking will be allowed on Federal Street in this work area. Expect temporary closures of side streets as the milling and paving equipment pass by intersections including Dunlap, Bank and Center streets.
Today, College Street will be closed at Maine Street to Tower Drive, Including access to the one-way section of Park Row, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., for paving.
