PORTLAND — Michael Bloom broke a scoreless tie after three minutes of the second half and Falmouth went on to a 3-0 victory Tuesday that sent Waynflete to its first schoolboy soccer loss of the season.
J.P. White of Class B Falmouth (9-4-1) made it 2-0 midway through the half against the Class C Flyers (10-1-2) when he one-timed a rebound at the 18. Sam White scored the third goal on a header off a chip by Cam Bell.
Wil D’Agostino had four saves for Falmouth. Zander Majercik stopped 11 shots for Waynflete.
DEERING 5, MARSHWOOD 4: Charlie Dupee had three goals and an assist to lead Deering (5-8-1) over Marshwood (8-4-2) at Portland.
Augustine Solleux and Edgar Gonzalez also scored for the Rams. Gonzalez gave Deering a 5-3 lead with 14 minutes remaining. Steve Smith scored the Hawks’ final goal five minutes later, and Marshwood applied pressure for the final nine minutes.
Troy Osborne scored two goals and Alex McLean had one for the Hawks.
Jackson Towle had six saves for Marshwood, Jamie Gullbrand seven for Deering.
NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 2, FREEPORT 2: Ryan Farley had two assists as the Falcons (2-10-2) scored twice in the second half to tie North Yarmouth Academy (6-5-1) at Freeport.
The Panthers led 2-0 at halftime on goals by Ryan Rousseau and Sam Leischman. Farley set up Jack Dawe early in the second half, then assisted Jose Rosquette with 11:42 left.
KENNEBUNK 2, NOBLE 0: Griffin Ergotas scored twice to lift the Rams (8-4-2) over Noble (4-9-1) at Kennebunk.
Harrison Hall set up the first goal, looking away and flicking the ball to Ergotas for a tap into the empty side of the net 11 minutes into the second half. Ergotas added his second goal with 13 minutes remaining.
PORTLAND 5, BONNY EAGLE 0: Fazalhaq Nabi scored Portland’s third goal of the first half, then two more in the second half as the Bulldogs (12-1-1) pulled away from the Scots (5-7-2) at Standish.
Alan Tuyishime and Ralph Houanche scored the first two Portland goals.
SACOPEE VALLEY 2, WELLS 0: Mike Anderson pushed Justin Ray’s cross from the end line across the goalmouth, breaking a scoreless tie in the 71st minute as the Hawks (7-4-1) downed Wells (1-13) at South Hiram.
Carl Lawrence added a last-minute goal.
SCARBOROUGH 10, THORNTON ACADEMY 0: Kenny Hodgdon scored three goals to lead the Red Storm (12-2) past Thornton Academy (3-10-1) at Scarborough.
Austin Downing and Andrew Jones added two goals apiece. Brett Leighton, Kevin Philbrick and Eric Anson also scored.
GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 2, TRAIP ACADEMY 1: Craig Moreau scored two goals for Gray-New Gloucester (9-5) against Traip Academy (3-10-1) at Kittery.
Moreau gave the Patriots the lead midway through the first half, then made it 2-0 with 3:30 left in the game. Cole Kuehl spoiled the shutout with 1:20 remaining.
WESTBROOK 8, BIDDEFORD 0: Andrew Sousa scored three goals for the Blue Blazes (6-7-1), who opened a 6-0 halftime lead against Biddeford (0-14) at Westbrook.
Owen Gillis, Nathan Mailly and Qutaiba Hassoun also scored in the first half. Matt Cottrell and Ghassan Hassoun added second-half goals.
FRYEBURG ACADEMY 3, LAKE REGION 1: Milos Mijokov scored the tying goal with 1:38 left in the first half, then set up Fabian Schoerner for the go-ahead goal 3:30 into the second half as Fryeburg Academy (8-6) slipped past the Lakers (2-10-1) at Naples.
Lake Region took a 1-0 lead after 14:26 when Jack Tragert put in the rebound of Robert Davis-White’s shot. Wyatt Andreoli made it 3-1 with 1:04 left.
YORK 1, CAPE ELIZABETH 0: Kyle Robinson scored in the first half as the Wildcats (8-5-1) beat Cape Elizabeth (9-3-2) at York.
Brian Mendoza assisted.
GORHAM 7, MASSABESIC 0: Connor Reagan and Kevin Lubelcyzk scored twice each as the Rams (9-3-2) beat Massabesic (2-12) at Gorham.
Austin Bell had a goal and an assist. Drew Hopkins and Connor Bell also scored.
