STANDISH – Police are looking for a man they say robbed a pizza store on Ossipee Trail East just before midnight Friday.
According to the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office, a white man about 6 feet tall and weighing about 200 pounds entered the Domino’s Pizza store and demanded money. Store workers said the man held his hand under his sweatshirt in a way to suggest that he had a gun, although the workers didn’t see a weapon.
The man, who was wearing a green hooded sweatshirt with the hood pulled up and a dark mask over his mouth and neck, ran from the store after being handed several hundred dollars. An attempt to track the man using a dog was unsuccessful.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division at 774-1444, ext. 2112.
