Cole Post 19 scored four runs in the first and eight more in the second, handing Topsham Post 202 a 22-9 loss in a Senior American Legion Zone 3 baseball game on Monday at Bowdoinham Recreational Field.
Post 202 rallied in the bottom of the second, scoring six runs to cut the deficit in half, and a pair of runs for the hosts in the fourth made for a 12-8 contest.
However, the Eagles tacked on a run in the fifth, three in the sixth and six more in the seventh to pull away. Topsham Post 202 ( 2- 16) committed 10 errors in the loss.
Roman Bennett had four hits in the win, while Ethan Daigneault. Brady Lambert and Jordan Delasandro picked up three hits each.
Devin Tobin and Coby Holman each singled and doubled for Topsham, while Austin Damon added two doubles.
Post 202 hosts Staples Crossing on Thursday at 5:30 p.m.
