
She was born April 22, 1921, in Dover-Foxcroft, the daughter of Cassandra (Thompson) Russ and stepdaughter of Arthur Russ.
Connie graduated from Brunswick High School in 1940 and lived her adult life in the Topsham-Brunswick area and was a loyal employee of Parkview Hospital for 20 years. She was an active member of Berean Baptist Church and will be remembered for her extraordinary faith and devotion to her Heavenly Father. She loved sewing, photography, bird watching and poodles.
Her lasting legacy is her selfless and giving spirit.
Connie is survived by her son, Peter Avery, and his wife Lois; daughter, Carolyn Bibber, and her husband John; grandchildren, Jason Warlick, Alysha Allen and her husband Mark, Kelsey Fogg and her husband Cory, and Luke Avery; greatg randdaughter, Olivia Warlick; sister, Prudence King; niece, Constance Anne Allison; nephew, Larry King; great-nephew, Matthew Allison; and beloved dog, Sophie.
A memorial service was held on Monday, Nov. 18, at Berean Baptist Church, 15 Cumberland St., Brunswick.
