PORTLAND — JamesOn Curry banked in a straight-on 3-pointer with .3 seconds remaining this afternoon to lift the Springfield Armor past the slumping Maine Red Claws 100-97 at the Portland Expo.

It was Springfield’s first win at the Expo in 10 games over two years.

The Red Claws, who have lost five in a row to drop to 14-26, led by 14 in the first quarter, then rallied from a late eight-point deficit.

Mario West had two steals in the final minute, leading to five points, and DeShawn Sims tied the game at 97 with 22.2 seconds left.
