From the Biddeford Daily Journal: “Mrs. Mary Owens was given a sentence of $10 and costs or 30 days at Alfred, in the Saco police court this morning. She will have to go to Alfred as she will be unable to pay. Sadie Nason, Mrs. Owens’ daughter, was given a sentence of 60 days. Both were charged with intoxication.”
