AUGUSTA — Second-ranked Edward Little went 13 for 14 from the foul line in the fourth quarter to pull away from No. 7 Bangor 74-56 in an Eastern Class A girls’ quarterfinal at the Augusta Civic Center.

Bangor, trailing by 14 at the half, pulled to within two in the third behind the scoring of Hillary Throckmorton but eventually faltered under EL’s pressure.

Senior guard Frankie Lally led the Eddies with 25 points, hitting five 3-pointers and going 10 for 10 at the foul line in the fourth quarter. Sophomore guard Ashlee Arnold added 17 points – all in the first half.
