RUMFORD — The Wells wrestling team will be well-represented at this Saturday’s Class B State Wrestling Championships after the Warriors had a strong showing at the Class B South Regionals last weekend.
The Warriors had three wrestlers capture regional titles on Saturday with Ryan Norton at 106 pounds, Michael Wrigley at 160 pounds and Nolan Potter at 182 pounds.
Wells got second-place finishes from Cullen Cummings at 126 pounds, Jake Spofford at 170 pounds and Brenden Dean at 220 pounds.
Caleb Chase (132) and Sean MacCormack-Kuhnma (195) finished third for the Warriors.
The Class B state tournament will be held on Saturday at Oceanside High School.
