In Monday’s Journal Tribune, several local place winners were left out of the indoor track recap entitled, “Strong day for locals at Southwesterns meet.” Thornton Academy’s Samantha Curran won the senior division shot put and Olivia Libby finished fourth in both the 55 hurdles and long jump. TA’s Isabella Capozzi was third in the senior shot put and Noelle Michaud was second in the junior division shot put. TA’s Jason Montano and Cameron Houde finished 1-2 in the boys’ junior division shot put and Tucker Weeks won the junior 55-meter dash, 400 and long jump. TA’s Dan Marsh was second in the senior 400.
