WISCASSET — Wiscasset police are investigating a Thursday evening motorcycle crash on Route 1 that killed 62-year-old George Christopher of Alna.
Wiscasset Police Department was called to the crash in the area of Norm’s Used Cars around 6:40 p.m. According to a press release, a pickup truck driven by Dylan Young, 48, of Wiscasset collided with Christopher’s motorcycle as the truck was turning onto Old Ferry Road.
Christopher was pronounced dead at the scene.
Maine State Police investigators are reconstructing the crash.
