TOPSHAM – Monica L. Cloutier, 59, of Topsham, died Saturday July 6, 2019 at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston after a long illness. She was born in Brunswick on Aug. 22, 1959 to Leonard and Emma Skelton of Bowdoinham. She grew up in Bowdoinham and was a high honor graduate from Mt. Ararat School in Topsham. On April 1, 1989 she married Russell A. Cloutier of Topsham. Monica worked as an administrative assistant for Harpswell House and Ouellet Associates for many years. Monica was a member of the Topsham Fire Ladies Auxiliary for 20-plus years, and served as president for most of that time. Monica enjoyed crafting, cooking, shopping and spending time with her family. Monica is survived by her husband, Russell Cloutier of Topsham; her daughter and son in-law, Amanda and Jason Downing of West Bath and their children, Kaylen and Easton. She is also survived by several brothers, sisters; nieces, nephews; and many other family members who loved her dearly. She was predeceased by her parents; and four siblings. A graveside service will be held Saturday, July 13 at 10:30 a.m. at the Bay View Cemetery in Bowdoinham. There will be no visiting hours.
