ENID, Okla. – Beverly Tanner, 88, passed from this life on July 29, 2019 in Enid, Okla. She was born August 2, 1930 in Portland, Maine to Frank E. and Edith (Taylor) Robbins.
She was raised and educated in Portland until the age of 12. She moved to Pasadena, Calif. where she was raised by her grandmother after the loss of her parents.
She married William H. Tanner on Dec. 27, 1949 in Pasadena. She worked as a loan officer at the Casco Northern Bank in Brunswick, Maine.
She is survived by her children, Mary Tanner and Bill Tanner; granddaughters, Louise Peterson and Sarah Jean Tanner; great-granddaughter, Madison Tanner; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband; and grandson Jean Peterson.
Memorial services celebrating and honoring her life will be held at 11 a.m.. Thursday, August 1, 2019 in the Enid Adventist Church with Pastor David Miller officiating.
