WINDHAM – Mia Rapolla scored 20 of her 26 points in the first half as Gorham pulled away en route to a 56-43 victory against Windham in a Southern Maine Activities Association schoolgirl basketball game Saturday.
The Rams (8-1) used a 21-9 run in the second period to open a 36-25 halftime lead.
Meghan Gribbin led Windham (7-3) with 20 points.
DEERING 79, MASSABESIC 30: Kayla Burchill scored 27 points to top 1,000 for her career and lead the Rams (9-0) past the Mustangs (3-6) at Portland.
Burchill scored 24 in the first half as Deering took a 36-13 lead. Ella Ramonas added 16 points, and Marissa MacMillan chipped in six points and 11 rebounds.
NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 50, YARMOUTH 46: Eliza Gendron scored 10 of her 12 points in the fourth quarter as the Panthers (4-5) edged the visiting Clippers (1-9) at Yarmouth.
Blair Haggett led NYA with 21 points. She and Gendron each had eight rebounds. Morgan Scully chipped in 13 points and nine steals.
OLD ORCHARD BEACH 46, HEBRON ACADEMY 33: Gillian Foss had 20 points and 13 rebounds as the Seagulls (4-7) downed the Lumberjacks (4-4) at Old Orchard Beach.
Katie Hatch added 10 points and seven rebounds for Old Orchard, whose lead never fell below five points in the second half.
FREEPORT 56, POLAND 35: Leigh Wyman scored eight of her 14 points in the third quarter as Freeport (3-7) used an 18-9 run to open a 38-27 lead against the Knights (1-9) at Poland.
Katie Poulin scored 15 points and Morgan Brown 11 for the Falcons.
CHEVERUS 49, SCARBOROUGH 35: Alexandra Palazzi-Leahy scored five of her 14 points early in the game as the Stags (9-1) took a 9-1 lead and continued to pull away from the Red Storm (2-8) at Scarborough.
Morgan Cahill and Britni Mikulanecz each added 12 points for Cheverus.
SOUTH PORTLAND 56, THORNTON ACADEMY 39: Abby Hasson had a career-high 26 points to lead the Red Riots (6-4) over the Trojans (1-8) at South Portland.
Hasson also had 14 rebounds for South Portland, which ended the first half on an 11-0 run for a 27-16 lead. Danielle DiBiase added 14 points for the Red Riots.
WAYNFLETE 39, SACOPEE VALLEY 11: Martha Veroneau had 15 points and 11 rebounds, and Lydia Stegemann added 12 points and 11 boards to lead the Flyers (8-2) past the Hawks (3-5) at Portland.
Rhiannan Jackson chipped in four points and 10 rebounds for Waynflete, which led 24-10 at the half.
YORK 50, CAPE ELIZABETH 28: Stephanie Gallagher scored 16 points as the Wildcats (11-0) defeated the Capers (6-4) at York.
Nicole Taylor added 10 points for York.
BONNY EAGLE 53, WESTBROOK 47: Alicia Hoyt scored 16 points as the Scots (5-5) beat the Blue Blazes (3-6) at Standish.
LAKE REGION 50, FRYEBURG ACADEMY 33: Tiana-Jo Carter scored nine of her 11 points in the fourth quarter to lead the Lakers (9-1) past the Raiders (4-6) at Fryeburg.
BIDDEFORD 53, NOBLE 47: Bryanna Michaud scored seven of her 10 points in the fourth quarter as the Tigers (3-6) pulled away from a 38-38 tie and beat the Knights (2-8) at North Berwick.
WELLS 46, TRAIP ACADEMY 33: Kelsey Bragdon scored eight of her 12 points in the final quarter to power the Warriors (4-6) past the Rangers (7-4) at Wells.

FALMOUTH 6, CAPE ELIZABETH 3: Falmouth (6-6) received goals from six players and beat Cape Elizabeth (2-8) at Portland.
WINSLOW 5, GREELY 5: Monica Howland tied it for the Rangers (7-2-1) with 3:39 left in regulation against the Black Raiders (6-1-3) at Falmouth.
BRUNSWICK 11, YARMOUTH 1: Eliza Brooks had two goals and two assists, and Sara Freshley and Jennifer Machin each added two goals and an assist to lead Brunswick (7-6-1) over the Clippers (2-9) at Yarmouth.
