A scholarship fundraiser spring dance will be held at Duffy’s Tavern and Grill, 168 Saco Ave., Old Orchard Beach, from 7-11 p.m. Tickets are $10 per person, and can be purchased at MacDonald’s Garage in Old Orchard Beach, Prime Honda in Saco or Brady’s Screen Print in Biddeford. A baked bean supper will be held at West Kennebunk United Methodist Church, 160 Alfred Road, from 5-6:30 p.m. Baked beans, salads, hot dogs, beverages and homemade desserts will be served. The cost is $8 for adults and $3 for children ages 5 to 12.
A quilt show hosted by Trinity’s God’s Girls and the Pine Point Quilters will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church, 403 Main St., Saco. Donation is $3. Door prizes, raffles and lunch will be available.
The York District Pinewood Derby will be held from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Rochambeau Club, 329 South St., Biddeford. This scouting event is open to the community. Participants can bring their own derby car. Registration opens at 8 a.m. for scouts, with the race beginning at 9 a.m. Community registration opens at 11 a.m.; the race starts at 12:15 p.m.
