She was born April 16, 1924, a daughter of Omer and Phelanise (Huot) Grenier, and attended Biddeford schools.
On June 23, 1943, she married Paul H. Palmitessa at St. Mary’s Church.
Madeleine enjoyed watching and feeding birds and other wildlife; she loved the company of family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul.
Madeleine is survived by her son, Ronald and his wife Elaine (Roy) Palmitessa, and several nieces and nephews.
There will be no visiting hours. Graveside services and burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 9, at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Biddeford.
