PORTLAND — A winter storm is expected to bring seven to 10 inches of snow along the coast of Maine and six to nine inches inland.
The heaviest snow is forecast for Wednesday morning.
The National Weather Service says heavy snow and strong winds will create hazardous driving conditions with blowing and drifting snow expected.
A winter weather warning is in effect from 7 a.m. Wednesday to 1 a.m. Thursday.
