FALMOUTH – Dominic Desjardins made 40 saves, including seven in overtime, to help South Portland emerge with a scoreless tie against undefeated Greely in a schoolboy hockey game Saturday night at Family Ice.

Matt Labbe stopped 22 shots for Greely (6-0-1) against the Red Riots (2-3-1).

BIDDEFORD 11, PORTLAND 1: Bryan Dallaire and Brady Fleurent connected six times, including twice in a 10-second span as the Tigers (3-2) stopped the Bulldogs (3-3) at Portland.

Dallaire had four goals and four assists, and Fleurent added two goals and four assists. Tyler Audie also had a goal and two assists for Biddeford.

Tyler Morton stopped 11 shots for the Tigers.

CHEVERUS 5, LAKE REGION-FRYEBURG ACADEMY 1: Cameron McLain scored a pair of goals for the Stags (5-0), who took a 3-0 first-period lead and beat Lake Region/Fryeburg Academy (1-5) at Portland.

Sterling Weatherbie and Liam Fitzpatrick each added a goal and an assist.

Tyler Harnden scored for Lake Region/Fryeburg.

GORHAM 3, MASSABESIC/OLD ORCHARD BEACH 2: Eliott Gagne and Connor Smith scored third-period goals to lift the Rams (2-4) past the Mustangs (0-6) at USM Ice Arena.

Shawn Sullivan also scored, and Justin Roy made 22 saves in his first varsity start for Gorham.

Tom Vigue had both goals for Massabesic/OOB.

YORK 5, YARMOUTH 1: Jared Clauson scored twice, and Anthony Figlioli had a goal and an assist to lead York (3-3) over the Clippers (4-3) at Yarmouth.

Ryan Curtin and Craig Decato also scored for the Wildcats. Davis Brown answered for the Clippers.

BASKETBALL

GOULD ACADEMY 51, PINE TREE ACADEMY 37: Taylor Peck-Moad scored nine of his 17 points in the first quarter as the Huskies (5-3) took an 18-9 lead against the Breakers (0-7) at Freeport.

Tim McGuire scored 15 points for Pine Tree. Zach Wilday added 12 and Aaron Olson had 10.

BOOTHBAY REGION 40, ST. DOMINIC 29: Jordan Caron had 18 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Seahawks (7-2) over the Saints (3-6) at Boothbay Harbor.

Dan Dickinson added 14 points and seven steals for Boothbay, which extended a 20-17 halftime lead to 30-21 through three quarters.

A.R. GOULD 75, CALAIS 44: Devon Hall scored 15 points and Joe Mitchell chipped in with 14 as the Blue Devils (7-0) pulled away from the Bears (4-4) with a 20-8 fourth-quarter run at South Portland.

Steve Lyons led A.R. Gould with 16 points. George Hopkins had 11 points and eight rebounds.

CALVARY CHAPEL 50, GREATER PORTLAND CHRISTIAN 25: Colby Downes scored 16 points and Devon Warman added 12 as Calvary Chapel (3-5) beat the Lions (1-6) at Orrington.

Ben Hammond had 17 points and 16 rebounds for Greater Portland Christian.

MEDOMAK VALLEY 53, MAINE CENTRAL INSTITUTE 45: Isaac Greenrose scored 10 of his 12 points in the second half as the Panthers (6-3) overcame a 27-20 deficit against the Huskies (2-6) at Waldoboro.
