Bailey Island. Elizabeth Jean Leeman, 44, passed away unexpectedly Monday, September 16, 2019 at home. She was born November 17, 1974 in Brunswick Maine and lived her whole life on the Islands. She graduated from Mt. Ararat High School. She has one son, Arick Leavitt and comes from a very large family who will miss her dearly.
She enjoyed feeding and watching her birds and also enjoyed having pet cats. Being disabled for some time, she took pride in being as independent as she could.
She is predeceased by her father, Alan Boyd Leeman, brother Kirk Alan Leeman and uncle, Royston David Leeman.
She is survived by her mother, Deborah Leeman and life partner Pemberton Johnson, grandparents, Robert & Elizabeth Leeman and Jean Leeman. She is also survived by her Aunt Patricia Streeter and husband Chuck, Uncle Rick Leeman and wife Debra, Aunt Becky Leeman-O’Connell and husband Dan and step sister Katrina Eaton. She has numerous cousins.
Funeral services are to be determined.
