Sen. Valentino earns perfect attendance record

AUGUSTA — Sen. Linda Valentino, DSaco, had a perfect attendance and voting record during the recently concluded legislative session.

Valentino cast 258 votes during the second regular session of the 127th Maine Legislature – 100 percent of the votes recorded, excluding absences excused by the president of the Senate for illness or other extenuating circumstances.

“It has been an honor to represent the people of Senate District 31,” said Valentino. “They elected me to show up and be their voice in Augusta, and I’m proud my voting record shows I’ve done just that.”

Valentino also had a 100 percent attendance record during the first regular session in 2015. All told, she didn’t miss a single vote since her re-election in 2014.
