From the Biddeford Daily Journal: “The insane man held in Saco for identification has been identified through a photograph and birthmark. He is undoubtedly William Gelina of Claremont, N.H. Gelina seems to have short, lucid intervals when he is apparently intelligent for a few minutes and then very quickly show(s) mental derangement as was the case of the date in court.”
