
She is survived by her daughter Elizabeth Ann Kimball Bartlett of Jacksonville, North Carolina and her husband Michael Wayne; and her son Kevin Dexter Kimball and his wife Maura Farrell-Kimball of Lisbon Falls, Maine. Extended family includes grandson Jed Kevin Kimball of Cape Porpoise Maine, granddaughter Kathleen Ann Bartlett of Jacksonville North Carolina and grandson Bryon Nathanial Michael Bartlett and husband Clayton L. Vinson of Morehead City North Carolina. She recently welcomed a great grandson, Easton Kimball, son of Jed and Jessica Kimball.
She attended Gorham State Teachers college. She then married Dexter A. Kimball. While living in New Hampshire, she taught kindergarten and had her own private school. Betty resided in Springvale, Maine where she managed a garment factory for 20 years. She relocated to North Carolina in 1988 and there Betty was very active with family, friends and St. Anne’s Episcopal Church.
She was predeceased by husband Dexter A. Kimball, sister Nancy Landry and brother Danny Sutton.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday April 18, 2018.
The family asks in lieu of flowers that donations be sent to St. Anne’s Episcopal Church.
