Because of the suspect’s age, his name is not being released by authorities. The matter has been referred to juvenile court for prosecution, according to Biddeford Police Chief Roger Beaupre.
The anonymous posting depicted a gun emoji and a two-second clip of a gun from a television show, according to school officials. Students at the high school alerted school administrators of the posting on May 25.
