But the program, an elective at the high school, is now threatened due to the lack of space.”

From the Biddeford-Saco Journal: “Town clerk Babara Lord has announced the registration dates and hours for June 20 primary. Voters may register at the Town Clerk’s office on June 15, 16 and 17, Mrs. Lord said today. Hours will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. In addition, persons may register from 7 to 9 p.m. on June 17.”

From the Biddeford Daily Journal: “The death of William S. Wells, of Wells, removes a leading citizen, not only of his home town but of York County and Maine. Mr. Wells was an able man and prominent in many lines of activity. He was frequently consulted for expert advice, in timberland matters, especially, and was active in religious, social and political life.”
