
She was born in Biddeford on May 23, 1927, the daughter of Augustin and Alice Alarie Nadeau and was educated in St. Andre’s School.
On June 28, 1952, she married Robert I. Binette in St. Andre Church in Biddeford.
Robert died on May 12, 2012.
Mrs. Binette worked 45 years with the Pepperell Mfg. Co. and Biddeford Textile Co. in Biddeford, retiring in 1989. She enjoyed singing in the church choir years ago, playing card games, doing puzzles, reading and going on bus trips. She loved making cookies for family or friends who were patients in the hospital or nursing home to help cheer them up.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Rita Green in 1985 and one son, Roger L. Binette in 1998.
Surviving are: one son, Bernard P. Binette and his wife, Donna, of Kennebunk; one sister, Cecile Gauthier of Biddeford; and several nieces and nephews.
There will be no visiting hours. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 28, 2016, at St. Anne’s Chapel in Biddeford.
