Disney’s The Little Mermaid, Jr. will be presented at the Ogunquit Playhouse at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.
Journey under the sea with Ariel and her aquatic friends in Hans Christian Andersen’s beloved story featuring popular songs that include, “Part of Your World” and the Oscar-winning “Under the Sea.” Tickets are $13.
A baked bean and American chop suey supper will take place at the First Congregational Church of Kennebunkport. The supper is open to the public and will be held from 4:30-6 p.m. in the church’s Ober Hall, 141 North St. The cost is $8 per adult and $4 per child under age 12. The menu will be baked beans, hotdogs, American chop suey, coleslaw, bread, beverages and dessert.
York County Master Gardener “diggin’ it” Garden Tour will be held 10 a.m to 4 p.m., rain or shine. Tickets are on sale at Snell Family Farm, 1000 River Road, Buxton, Andy’s Agway, 13 Cole Farm Road, Dayton, and online at extension. umaine.edu/york/ home/diggin-it-garden-tour. The self-guided tour will feature seven distinctive gardens and farms all owned, managed or created with input by U Maine Master Gardener Volunteers in York County and is set along a relaxing route extending through Saco, Buxton, Biddeford, Hollis, Dayton and Lyman.
The Limerick Academy Open House will feature the history of local families from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. To have a family tree displayed call 793-2227 or 793-8336. Albums, wall hangings, posters, charts and more will interest all genealogy buffs.
Cornerstone United Methodist Church yard sale will be held at 20 Jenkins Road, Saco, from 9 a.m to 1 p.m. Table rentals are $10. For more information, call 934-780.
The Trinity Episcopal Church Summer Fair will be from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 403 Main St., Saco. Popular areas at the fair: Book Sale, New to You, Trinity crafts, plants and gardens, rummage sale items, children’s play area and the luncheon.
The band Spectrum will perform at Wells Harbor Park Hope Hobbs Gazebo at 6:30 p.m. as the fourth free Wells outdoor concert, replacing the Soulmate Band that had to cancel for medical reasons. The rain location will be Ward Gym at Wells Jr. High on Rt. 1. Spectrum will play classic rock ‘n roll, country and oldies.
