
Born in Biddeford, he was the son of Elaine Libby Vachon and the late Joseph Zoel Vachon. Billy attended Sanford High School and served in the U.S. Navy Amphibious Construction Battalion.
He was an accomplished welder and recently a small business co-owner in Sumter, South Carolina, where he resided with his family.
Billy will be greatly missed by his family!
There will be a memorial remembrance in his honor from 1-4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 14, at the Springvale Social Club Function Hall.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Jake Koenigsdorf Foundation, P.O. Box 401, East Slip, NY 11730-0401.
