RICHARD ALLEN ”˜RED’ CARR of Sanford died May 6 in Portland. A memorial service with military honors will be held to honor Mr. Carr at the Southern Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 82 Stanley Road, Springvale on Monday, May 16 at 1 p.m. Friends and family members are welcome to attend. Arrangements are under the direction of the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home, 580 Main St., Springvale. The Carr family would like to suggest that in lieu of memorial donations/flowers, that you take a moment today to visit a local nursing home or elderly neighbor, and put a smile on someone’s face.
