A bean supper will be held at North Saco Congregational Christian Church, located at the corner of Flag Pond, Heath and Rocky Hill Road from 4:30-6 p.m. Cost is $7 for adults and $3.50 for children. Menu is two kinds of beans, hot dogs, potato salad, cole slaw, homemade brown bread, coffee, lemonade and pie.
An e-waste day will be held by Catholic Charities Maine and St. Thérese of Lisieux Parish in the parking lot at St. Martha Church, l34 Portland Road, Kennebunk, from 8 a.m. to noon. Community members are encouraged to drop off televisions, computers, printers, VCRs, cell phones, microwaves, air conditioners, electronic parts, radios and wiring. Unusable items will be recycled, while items that are usable will be sold at Threads of Hope.
The Reminisants will play at Wells Harbor Park, Hope Hobbs Gazebo, at 6:30 p.m. during Well’s free summer concert series. The Reminisants specialize in 1950s through 1990s music. For more information, visit reminisants.com or wellstown.org/harborparkconcerts, or call June Messier at 646-5596.
