Cecile B. Genest, 88, a lifelong resident of Sanford, passed away on Monday, Jan. 9, 2012 at the Goodall Hospital in Sanford. Per her wishes there will be no visiting hours. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 11 a.m. at St. Thérèse of Liseux Parish, Holy Family Church. Burial will be in the spring at St. Ignatius Cemetery. David B. McInnis, 47, of Springvale, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2012 in Springvale. Dr. Leopold A. Viger, of Kennebunk Beach, passed away on Jan. 10 after a brief stay at Maine Medical Center in Portland.
