OLD ORCHARD BEACH — State and Old Orchard Beach Police have arrested and charged an Old Orchard Beach man in connection with the stabbing death of Roger White on Friday night.
Michael Swenson, 44, was taken into custody at his mother’s house in Scarborough without incident, police stated. He is charged with murder and has been taken to the York County Jail.
White’s body was discovered outside in Old Orchard Beach on Saturday morning. An autopsy on White’s body by Maine’s Chief Medical Examiner, Dr. Margaret Greenwald, showed that White died of stab wounds to the neck and chest, according to the police statement.
