I am writing this letter to show my appreciation for the steadfast service Sen. Ron Collins has demonstrated during his time serving in Augusta. Every time I see Ron around town, he always greets me with a friendly “hello,” and takes time to speak with me about any questions I have regarding local and state issues that are in the news.

Sen. Collins is always looking to do the right thing for the citizens of his district, York County and the entire state of Maine. Ron’s knowledge of local and state issues is vast, and I am encouraged every time I speak with him. He really does know the ins and outs of the issues they are dealing with in Augusta, and how they will affect us here in York County.

Ron Collins is an eloquent and honest speaker who has shown incredible integrity throughout his time serving our state.

Sen. Collins served as a member of the Joint Standing Committee on Veterans and Legal Affairs during this past legislative session, and was appointed to serve on the Commission to Strengthen and Align the Services Provided to Maine’s Veterans. The commission was created to examine inefficiencies in the services that are provided to Maine’s veterans, more specifically concerning mental health services, health care, homelessness and retaining our military service members here in Maine.

Ron is also a small business supporter, and understands what our community needs to produce economic growth in our region. I look forward to supporting Ron in November once again, and I hope the residents of Kennebunk, Wells, Lebanon, Acton, Berwick and North Berwick will join me in supporting our state senator, Ron Collins.
