BIDDEFORD — Ellen E. Levine, RN, 71, of Birch Street, passed away Oct. 19, 2016 at her residence.
She was born in New York City, Oct. 19, 1945 the daughter of Woodrow and Evelyn Von Hoff Freese.
Ellen graduated from Catskill High School in 1963 and then the University of Vermont in 1979.
She later received her registered nurse degree from Westbrook College and was a member of the American Nurses Association.
Ellen was a psychiatric nurse for over 30 years.
She enjoyed reading, cooking and animals.
She is survived by her son Gideon Levine of San Francisco.
A celebration of her life will be a announced at a later date.
