SANFORD — The Noble golf squad continued its hot start to the season after a 13-0 triumph against Sanford at Sanford Country Club on Thursday night.
Geoffrey Howe and Mathew Nolder fired off rounds of 45 to help the Knights earn their victory.
Noble also got wins from Tyler Oliver, Kyle Franey, Cheyanne Couture and Devin Brown.
Massabesic 7, Biddeford 6
Biddeford senior Carter Burnell fired a round of 37, but Massabesic walked away with a win during a matchup on Thursday night.
Noah Chretian, Kyle Single and Codie Fall all generated victories for the Mustangs.
Biddeford earned wins from Burnell, Brian Perreault and Randy Guay.
Kennebunk 11.5, Marshwood 1.5
Cole Binette drilled a round of 41 to help Kennebunk golf secure their win over Marshwood on Thursday night.
Kennebunk also earned wins from Alex Champagne, Casen Luck, Delaney Roche and Frank Canniff.
Marshwood’s lone win came from Zack Glidden.
Volleyball
Biddeford 3, Portland 0
The Tigers improved to 6-1 on the year with a 25-9, 25-10, 25-20 win over Portland on Thursday.
Gracie Martin led the way for Biddeford with 12 kills. Brooke Reissfelder led the way with 11 assists.
Cheverus 3, Thornton Academy 1
Thornton Academy volleyball triumphantly beat Cheverus in the second set 25-17 but ultimately fell short during the other three sets 25-23, 25-13, 25-20.
Maddie Geiger lead the way for the Stags with nine kills.
Girls Soccer
Sacopee Valley 2, Old Orchard Beach 0
Gabby Martin and Brenna Humphrey scored second-half goals to lift Sacopee Valley over Old Orchard Beach.
OOB goalie Chloe Kocian made six saves in the loss.
