In a special ribbon-cutting ceremony held Nov. 11, Kittery Premium Outlets officials dedicated 14 reserved parking spaces for veterans and military in honor of their service to our nation.
Also attending the ceremony were Sgt. John Brosnihan of Kittery Police Department, Commander Mel Greenier of American Legion Field-Allen Post 148 and Diana Greenier of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.
The reserved spaces will be available throughout the five centers at Kittery Premium Outlets to ensure convenience for all active military members and veterans as they shop.
The shopping center also demonstrates its appreciation for military members, veterans and military families throughout the year with free VIP Coupon Books and additional savings from 32 participating retailers.
The coupon books are available at the Kittery Premium Outlets management office near Old Navy store at Center 5. Valid military ID must be presented to receive a coupion book.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
