OLD ORCHARD BEACH — The town has approved a two-year contract for Town Manager Larry Mead.
The contract was approved unanimously by the town council Tuesday night without much fanfare or comment.
Mead began as town manager in September 2013, under a six-month probationary contract, at an annual salary of $105,000.
Mead’s new contract is retroactive to March 16, at an annual salary of $107,100, according to written town council commentary.
Mead is a resident of Old Orchard Beach. Prior to coming on board in Old Orchard Beach, Mead was the town manager of Kennebunkport.
