There will be no Tuesday edition of the Journal Tribune published on new Year’s Day, however, a Monday edition will be published instead. ED PIERCE/Journal Tribune

BIDDEFORD — Because of the holiday, the Journal Tribune will not publish an edition on New Year’s Day, Tuesday, Jan. 1.

Instead, the newspaper will publish an edition on New Year’s Eve, Monday, Dec. 31.

The publishing changes allow for the newspaper to give employees the holiday off to spend with their families.

The Journal Tribune will resume its usual publishing schedule with the Wednesday, Jan. 2 edition.

Newspaper offices will be open at 6 Digital Drive in Biddeford from 8 to 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 31, but will be closed on New Year’s Day, Tuesday, Jan. 1.

The newspaper office will re-open at 8 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 2 and follow the normal business hours schedule thereafter.
