KENNEBUNK — What’s your story? Keep up in the ever-advancing world of social media and learn about Instagram and Facebook “stories” at this new free workshop starting at 8 a.m. Friday, Jan. 18, at the Kennebunk-Kennebunkport-Arundel Chamber of Commerce.
Alison Graham of Life in the Ali and Boston Beer Company will be leading this Instagram 201 seminar to explain the difference between a “post” and a “story” and best practices for businesses. Rounding out the panel, Alaina LeBlanc Tridente and Cyndi Smith, will also speak on best practices in administration and photography.
Participants should already have a facebook and Instragram account and some basic understanding of the different platforms.
The workshop will be held upstairs at the Chamber of Commerce office at 8 a.m. Following the classroom-style presentation, at 9 a.m., participants are invited to walk around downtown Kennebunk with Graham and put their skills to practice. At 4 p.m., Graham will lead a field trip to do the same things around Kennebunkport’s Dock Square and Kennebunk’s Lower Village picturesque landmarks.
All segments are free and open to the public with RSVP.
