WELLS — The Wells Rotary Club and the Wells High School Lady Warriors are once again teaming up for the 15th annual Chuck Cumming Memorial Golf Tournament, to be held on Monday, Aug. 18 at noon at Old Marsh Country Club in Wells.
As golfers who participated in last year’s event know, the day is filled with golf, prizes, lunch and an after-golf dinner, organizers say.
Proceeds and donations to the event will again be split between Wells Rotary and the Lady Warriors basketball team to benefit local Rotary projects and the Breast Care Centers at York Hospital in Wells and York.
Tournament sponsors include Maine Diner, Biddeford Savings Bank, Nvest Financial Group, Sanford Institution for Savings, York Hospital, Kennebunk Savings Bank, Cole Harrison Insurance Agency, Wells Storage Solutions, Poland Spring, Garnsey Bros. Realty, Saco & Biddeford Savings Bank and Irving Oil.
