KENNEBUNK – The Education Foundation of the Kennebunks & Arundel will host its “Catch The Wave” fundraiser on Friday, May 5.

This year marks the 11th anniversary of the EFKA and it is hoped that families of the RSU21 community will participate in celebrating the work that we being done and will continue to support the six schools of the district.

“Programs including LEGO Robotics, Artists in Residence, motivational speakers, the fourth and fifth grade Arts Festival, and the seventh-grade leadership training at Camp Kieve are all examples of how the EFKA has enhanced the educational experiences of RSU21 students,” said EFKA President Jackie Teguis. “Since its inception, the EFKA has invested over $920,000 in these types of programs in the six RSU21 schools. None of this work would have been possible without the support of individuals and businesses from our local communities.”

This year’s event will be celebrated with a Cinco de Mayo flair. Festive tapas and cash bar will be provided and there will be many exciting silent and live auction items as well as raffles and some fun surprises.

“Catch The Wave” will be held at the Nonantum Resort from 7 to 10:30 p.m.
