Cumberland County law enforcement agencies used the Internet in a prostitution sting that led to the arrests of four women and seven men this summer.

The men, all but one from Maine, were charged with engaging a prostitute, a misdemeanor. The women, all from Maine, were charged with prostitution, also a misdemeanor.

Three of the women were arrested in June and the rest at an unnamed hotel complex on Tuesday.

Arrested for prostitution were Angela Cloutier, 26, Bridgton, Carolyn Deberry, 32, Gray, Norma Jean Greenleaf, 43, Brunswick, and Samantha Pecoraro, 26, Yarmouth. Greenleaf was also charged with possession of scheduled drugs.

Those arrested for engaging a prostitute were Newell Perkins, 69, Ogunquit, Spencer Richie, 49, Woolwich, Todd Donatello, 49, Falmouth, Eric Mayo, 25, Saco, Chad Roper, 32, Kennebunk, Joseph Miller, 45, Portland, Erick Van’ Savage, 50, New Hartford, N.Y.

Police departments from Yarmouth, Bridgton, Brunswick and the ,Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office were involved in the operation.
