SACO — Tori Daigle scored three goals and Haley DaGraca added two goals and an assist as Thornton Academy rolled past Sanford 8-1 in an SMAA girls soccer game at Hill Stadium on Friday.
Katherine Gillespie opened the scoring 8:37 into the first half before Daigle sandwiched a pair of goals around a DaGraca goal before halftime.
Cassidy Cochrane and Eden LeBlanc also scored for the Trojans (8-1).
Summer Camire ended the shutout for Sanford (2-6-1) with a goal in the final minute of play.
Niki Perez made 17 saves in net for the Spartans.
