MADISON (AP) — Officials in a Maine town are pursuing legislation that would provide tax relief to help make up for the impact of a $150 million drop in value at a paper mill.
Madison’s selectmen are seeking educational funding to mitigate the loss in tax revenue from Madison Paper Industries.
