Valedictorian Sydney Michelle Littlefield of Sanford is the daughter of Chris and Michelle Littlefield. She played varsity soccer for all four high school years and was team captain for three years. Littlefield played basketball in her freshman and sophomore years, was a member of the Key Club and National Honor Society. She was involved in Seacoast United Premiere Soccer, AAU basketball and volunteered to assist local soccer teams and with the Columbus Day soccer tourneys held annually in Sanford, among other endeavors. She plans to attend the University of New England in Biddeford to pursue a career in nursing.

Salutatorian Tian Morrison is the daughter of Donna Morrison of Springvale. She was involved in soccer for three years, track and field for four, and took part in the Ocean Bowl and Science Bowl. She has been involved in Key Club, Peer Helpers, the Environmental Club and was a member of the Sanford High School Student Council. She plans to take up bioengineering at the University of Maine in Orono.

Annie Dionne Ledue is the daughter of Claire and Thomas Ledue of Springvale. She played varsity field hockey and basketball and ran track and field all four high school years. She is her class president, has been involved with Key Club and Peer Helpers, was a member of the National Honor Society and was vice president of NHS her senior year. Ledue was involved with Strategies for a Stronger Sanford Youth Council, volunteers with Lets Dance with the Stars, was a camp counselor for youth field hockey and basketball and volunteered at an after-school program. She plans to study secondary education and math at St. Michael’s College in Colchester, Vermont.

Summer Camire is the daughter of Mark and Cherylan Camire of Acton. She played varsity soccer and basketball and ran track and field for all of her high school career. Camire was her class vice president, president of Peer Helpers, and president of the National Honor Society for the her junior and senior years. She was involved with Dirigo Girl’s State, attended UMaine engineering camp, was involved with Blue Wave and AAU basketball, was a camp coach and counselor for soccer and basketball and took part in the Peer Helpers food drive. She plans to study engineering at the University of Maine in Orono.

Katherine G. Gould is the daughter of Terry and Karen Gould of Sanford. She has been involved in archery for the past two years, including taking private lessons and in Junior Olympic Archery Development, she also took part in varsity cross country and tennis. She has taken Suzuki method piano lessons for the past two years, and was a member of the National Honor Society and national Technical Honor Society, Future Educators of America, the Sportsmen’s Club and was a Margaret Chase Smith Kid’s Club teacher aide. Gould plans to study marketing communications at Husson University in Bangor.

Hannah Miller is the daughter of Mark and Elise Miller of Acton. She was a member of the lacrosse and soccer teams, played tennis and was involved with the key Club and National Honor Society. As a freshman, she volunteered with the Willard School  Kid’s Club program and Strategies for a Stronger Sanford. She was involved with an annual Kiwanis Pediatric Institute volunteer effort and a Key Club educational convention and took part in Seacoast Mission trip to Cherryfield. She plans to pursue nursing at the University of New Hampshire in Durham.

Ethan Alexander Mathieu of the son of Julie Supan and Marc Mathieu of Sanford. Mathieu ran track and field for the past three years. He was a member of the school’s Environmental Club and the National Honor Society. He volunteered with the summer Kid’s Club program. Mathieu plans a doubler major in electrical engineering and computer engineering at the University of Maine in Orono.

Hunter John Jamison is the son of Kim and Don Jamison of Sanford. He was percussion section leader of the Sanford High School Marching Band for three of his four high school years, a member of the Jazz Band, Impact Winter Percussion, the Pep Band and took part in the state festival for percussion. Jamison was a member of the Key Club, National Honor Society and as a freshman was a member of the French Club. As a senior, he took part in the Portland Youth Wind ensemble and the Portland Youth Symphony Orchestra as percussion section leader and was a member of the Sanford Community Band as a sophomore. He plans to study bimolecular engineering at Stony Brook University in Stony Brook, New York.

Kristen Marie O’Connell is the daughter of Ryan and Christina O’Connell of Sanford. She played soccer and basketball all four high school years and served as captain of both teams as a senior. O’Connell was involved in key Club, Spanish Club, the National Honor Society and was NHS secretary as a senior. As well, she volunteered as a youth soccer coach and a youth basketball coach. O’Connell plans to study nursing at the University of New Hampshire.

Alaina Renee Parison is the daughter of Renee and Joshua Parison of Sanford. She was a varsity cheerleader for fall and winder sports for all four of her high school years and a member of the of the Pep Club. She was a member of the National Honor Society, Key Club, played varsity tennis and was a member of the Homecoming Committee. She volunteered with Wee Cheer, with the Backpack Program and at Curtis Lake Church. Parison plans to study radiography at Southern Maine Community College in South Portland.

Shaelyn Christine Kane is the daughter of Lynette Tozier and Joe Kane of Sanford. She was involved with swimming and soccer for all four high school years, a member of the Key Club for three years and of the National Honor Society as a senior. Kane was a volunteer at the Animal Welfare Society in Kennebunk and served a volunteer internship at The Ridge Animal Hospital as a freshman. She plans to study animal science at the University of Vermont in Burlington.
