KENNEBUNK — The Kennebunk Center for Dentistry has recently learned that a number of its patients received a promotional mailing from another dental practice.
The mailing appears to indicate that patients’ names and addresses were accessed from the files of Kennebunk Center for Dentistry without authorization.
Center officials are not aware that any other personal information was accessed and have taken steps to ensure that its existing privacy safeguards are effective going forward.
If any patient has any questions regarding this matter, they are asked to contact Cheron Pillsbury who serves as the Privacy Officer for Kennebunk Center for Dentistry.
