OLD ORCHARD BEACH — The East Coast Baseball League, which includes the Old Orchard Beach Surge, continues to tout “Family Friendly Baseball” and part of that is keeping ticket prices affordable.
On Thursday, the league announced that every team will be offering individual tickets for just $5.
“The ECBL believes in community and family. We will be instituting a $5 individual ticket price. We want to be affordable to all levels ”“ from single parents to families of four and more. We want everyone to have a chance to experience and enjoy an ECBL game or two,” said a press release from the league.
“We believe in our brand and our on field product. Now, it’s time for the baseball teams to give back to the communities they will play in.”
Season tickets are also available online, including a deal where you can purchase two season tickets for just $200. To purchase tickets go to surgebaseball.weebly.com or eastcoastbaseballleague.com.
The Old Orchard Beach Surge will begin the 2015 season on the road before coming back to OOB on June 2 for the home opener against the Road City Explorers. The home opener is set for 7 p.m. at The Ballpark.
