KENNEBUNKPORT —Members of First Congregational Church of Kennebunkport, 141 North St., wish to announce they will be holding a Saturday morning yard sale at the church on Sat., Aug. 12 from 8 a.m. to noon.
The yard sale will also feature collectables, a silent auction on items and gift cards donated by local merchants, including: Hannaford, Captain Jefferds Inn, Kennebunkport Resort Collection, Pedro’s, and Hurricane Restaurant.
The sale will benefit the restoration of the church’s 1854 E. & G. G. Hook organ which is scheduled to begin January 2018. Be sure to mark your August calendars for this fund raising event.
In addition to this yard sale, concerts, suppers, and other events hosted by church members, the Rev. Paula Norbert and congregation welcomes you to attend Sunday church service which begins at 9:30 a.m. All are welcome at First Church.
First Congregational Church is located 1.5 miles south of the Seacoast Trolley Museum where Log Cabin Road becomes North Street. next to Arundel Cemetery and near the Kennebunkport Historical Society.
From Kennebunkport’s Dock Square area take Spring Street to a left on Maine Street to North Street and follow North Street to First Congregational Church on the right.
