SPRINGVALE — Cedar Mountain Bluegrass Band, a New England based group performing fine traditional and contemporary bluegrass music, is coming to Springvale. Formed in 2011, the band features Chris Winters on the guitar and vocal, Bill Hayes on banjo and vocal, Alan Brock on mandolin and vocal and Bob Clement on bass. From up tempo bluegrass favorites to soulful ballads to newer bluegrass tunes, the collective styles of these members bring a unique sound to their music.
The concert will take place 7:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 18, doors open at 6:45 p.m., and will be held at The Historical Museum, 505 Main St., Springvale. Tickets are $15 for adults and seniors and free for ages 18 and under and may be purchased at the door the night of the performance. For more information, call 324-2797. The museum is handicapped accessible and air conditioned.
