House tour for museum

The 1870 Greek Revival house, at 21 South High St., is one of 10 properties on the Rufus Porter Museum’s historic house tour from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday.

An 1830 farmhouse, a Gothic Revival residence and a water-powered coffin factory, built by Bridgton’s first undertaker in 1868, also are included.

Historic barn program

Bridgton Historical Society will host an illustrated talk on the Historic Barn Program at Narramissic by historian Don Perkins at 7 p.m. on Saturday at the Narramissic’s “Temperance Barn,” at the end of Ingalls Road, off Route 107.

Pie-baking contest Saturday

The Kennebunk’s Old Home Week Pie Baking Contest will be held Saturday at Holy Cross Lutheran Church. Entries of two pies of the same recipe will be accepted between 10 a.m. and noon.

Discussion of sex scandal
